FOOD CARE MINISTRY- how it works

Donated fresh food and prepared meals are freeze-dried and packaged in air-tight food food-grade bags with an oxygen absorbergrade bags with an oxygen-absorber, providing a shelf-life of up to 25 years.  The bags are labeled, identifying the food and meal content, and placed into a corrugated shipping case.

Most of the freeze-dried food is packaged in bags that serve between 4 to 6 people.  The finished packaged cases are delivered to partnering churches for distribution to the families they determine are most in need.

Fresh food and/or prepared meals are donated to people in a local community.  Every donation of food is freeze-dried and packaged for distribution.  

All freeze-dried food packages for families are delivered at no cost to the partnering church.  All freeze-dried products are provided directly to individuals or to partnering churches for their distribution. All freeze-dried products are not for resale.

Master’s Harvest 4Him continues to raise donations to purchase additional freeze-dryer units for placement in more communities, expanding the Food Care Ministry.
